Working From Home With Zappos Stories

The world has changed.

Turn on the television, and it’s all you hear. Unlock your smartphones, and it’s all you read. Without a doubt, the coronavirus is changing every aspect of our lives.

Multiple health authorities, including the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, are continuing to monitor this ever-evolving outbreak. Businesses are also doing its part to help flatten the curve. Zappos is no exception.

Staying true to its 10 Core Values, from “Delivering WOW Through Service” to “Building a Positive Team and Family Spirit,” Zappos considers its employees family. Every day we’re working on new measures to ensure employee safety.

On March 6, Zappos sent out a company-wide memo stating public tours, live training events, and large-scale company events would be postponed. It further urged its Las Vegas-based staff to transition to work remote.

From merchandising to marketing; finance to Fungineering. Yes, even our Customer Loyalty Team is WOWing shoppers from home.

As we practice social distancing and self-isolate, Zappos Stories YouTube is committed to sharing with you the happenings of our company. We’ll be talking with employees on a wide range of topics, from the impact Covid-19 is having on the company, to how Zappos’ culture and core values remain resilient.

Today, we’re all facing challenging times. Personally, professionally, and every level in between. Whether you’re here for a distraction or inspiration, we welcome you in with open arms.
