Can I get a receipt for my donation?

Donations made through any of our GIVE nonprofit partners are eligible for a tax receipt, but you will need to request the tax receipt directly from them. Please note, Zappos for Good facilitates the shipment of the donation, but our nonprofit partners receive the donations to put to good use. You can request a tax receipt through the contact forms listed below for our various nonprofit partners. Please mention your donation was made through Zappos for Good and include your tracking number, if possible. Our RECYCLE programs are not 501(c)(3) charitable organizations and, unfortunately, cannot issue tax receipts for donations.

I have items I would like to donate/recycle for more than one GIVE or RECYCLE program. Can I combine them into one box?

We kindly ask that you separate your items for each GIVE and RECYCLE program into different boxes. This is because the pre-paid shipping labels ship the boxes directly to our partners and our partners don’t have a way to sort or redirect a donation to another program.

Do I need to have a Zappos customer account to donate or recycle through Zappos for Good?

You will need to log in to your Zappos account to print your shipping labels. If you don’t have a Zappos customer account, you can follow the prompts during the process to create one.

I live outside of the continental United States - am I still able to print a pre-paid shipping label?

Unfortunately, our shipping area only includes the continental U.S. at this time.

Are there limitations on how many shipping labels I can print or boxes I can send?

You may print as many labels and send as many boxes as you like! We kindly ask that you limit each box to under 50 lbs and print a new shipping label for each box.

Do you accept monetary donations?

Zappos for Good does not accept monetary donations as we are not a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. However, if you would like to make a monetary donation, we invite you to visit one of our nonprofit partner’s websites to learn how to donate.

Can I donate using USPS?

Unfortunately, UPS is the only shipping method at this time.

Is Zappos for Good a 501(c)(3) charitable organization?

Zappos for Good is not a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We partner with various nonprofits for our GIVE program to facilitate shipping donations directly to them, as well as for events throughout the year.
