Dale of Norway

So many things to love about this sweater: the design, the feel of the wool, but it is a very bulky sweater that feels too small, and I am definitely size 8-10. I was surprised that the sleeve length and body length were just right as I typically find sleeves and length too long if I don't get a petite size. I don't know if it would stretch out, but sadly I am returning this.

Runs small. Gorgeous color and design. Thinner than I was expecting.

The fit was good and Dale of Norway is an excellent manufacturer, but it's very heavy. Wear it for hiking in the woods in fall in a cold weather state

I bought a medium (8-10) and it's more like a extra small (2-4). I will be returning. Quality of fabric was outstanding though.

This is a beautiful sweater, heavy and warm but not too bulky.

Beautiful style and nice lighter knit, but very rough/itchy.. not sure what they meant by soft skin feel... Otherwise I love it...

Quality, the overall design of sweater has great detail. Unfortunately I am 5'7" that wears a 42 or 44 and that size was too long in the sleeves and body.

The hat fits fine, I’m usually a 7 and 3/8 and fits well. The problem is it’s fairly thin: wind cuts right through it. Indoors or with mild temps (30-40) it’s fine, it may be perfect as base layer in a ski helmet or another woven hat like a crocheted one.

Size guidance was off based on chest size but thankfully ordered L & XL. XL fit perfect

Mid-weight and warm. Not for subzero. Excellent quality. It is too large for me, a small woman. But I was easily able to shorten it by about an inch. Toasty ears for windy days.

Gorgeous Dale of Norway sweater. I love that this is the official sweater for Team Norway at the 2022 Winter Olympics!! I typically wear a size small; however ordered a medium for this close-fitting sweater. Perfect.

Size and fit was spot on. The zipper is a little annoying. It looks great though.

Pretty sweater, heavier than expected. It has an inner liner to prevent wind which may cause this to be heavier. The liner is a little restrictive making it a challenge to get your arms out. The liner makes a slight crunchy noise with movement. The liner is semi- soft it may soften more after the first hand wash. Overall I kept it because I could see myself skiing in this on little warmer days & hiking when colder. I usually wear women’s large but I am glad I bought the XL because of the liner. I am not sure if I purchased the large if I could get my arms out. I am a swimmer and my shoulders & upper arms are a little larger, if you have a smaller upper body, you can probably purchase your normal size. Hope this review helps.

size somewhat larger, had to return and get a smaller size, but it's still a great sweater>. Love the turtleneck, very soft. Dale of Norway makes the finest in woolen sweaters!

This was a gift. Beautiful quality sweater! I have purchased others as gifts & I personally own 5 of these Dale of Norway sweaters! That should be testimony enough as to these great pieces!!

Likes: Classic design, fitted & not baggy, not itchy, can be layered & worn like a jacket or zipped up & worn by itself. Both colors (red & blue) are gorgeous but only had red at the time of purchase. Just my opinion, make your own, I think the red seems a little matronly but the blue appears to be a younger look. Dislikes: maybe a tad short so if you have a long torso, maybe too short. Little expensive but I lucked out & purchased on sale. Overall: A keeper!!

Likes: High neck, soft. The neck is a tighter knit so it could double as a neck warmer. Dislikes: loose knit on torso & arms, would need to layer to stay warm if wearing this by itself. It does say sweater & not jacket. I have another Dale of Norway product that is tighter knit and that description is jacket. I can wear the jacket alone or layered. Returned because it was too big & they did not have the next size down.

This is a beautiful sweater. The style is so flattering. I bought it in the ruby red and it is gorgeous. Warm and well made. It is expensive but I bought it on sale which helped a lot!

This sweater is absolutely gorgeous! The fit is spot on - not too tight. I normally wear a medium and this was just right. The quality is superb!
