Dvs shoes have the best style of any skate shoe brand right now

Comfortable as hell, always loved this style for skateboarding, seamless impact on big drops and I see no issue about not having the board feeling that you would with the regular skater sneaker (which actually makes me feel naked and uncomfortable and it's also painful), and now that the skateboard tendency went back to wider boards (over 8') I would even say that this is just the perfect skate shoe. And WTF, they look SICK!

I normally wear 10.5 or 11. Reading the reviews, I got 11.5. Too short & too narrow. In a hurry for trip so just got another pair in 12. Still narrow & short. Should I try a 12.5 or 13? Hate to waste Zappos free shipping but I still need shoes. They look like they will be awesome once I get a pair outdoors!

These shoes are super comfortable around the ankle and heel, but where the front of the shoe connects to where the laces end in the front there is a slight ridge. This is probably only noticeable because of the rigidity of the toe cover for durability. But if it is durability you are looking for these shoes are great. Definitely pick a size or 1/2 size larger than other shoes that you wear because I typically where around a 10 1/2 and I needed an 11 1/2 in order for them to be long enough.

This is my second purchase from the DVS Shoe Company. I also bought a pair of their Militia Boots recently. I am well pleased with both purchases. The Comanche is well padded around the ankle. Stable and flexible. I have no reservations about giving them a strong recommendation.

A great looking shoe, and great DVS quality. Unfortunately fits small. I ordered a 12 which I usually take in DVS but would need a 13, which is out if stock. Comfort rating based on what it would be if I had the right size. As usual Zappos service was outstanding.
