I do not write a lot of reviews, but I had to write for this pair of snow boots. I have several issues in my foot (heel pain, neuroma in toe area etc) so I can wear only shoes that are really comfortable, and I have to wear Orthotics in all the shoes I wear. But this one is an exception. It is stylish, has a lot of space in toe box, Heels are high enough to give some lift to shoes and hence your heels (the support that I find only in Mephisto sandals). So this is an excellent pair of shoes for me in all aspects of comfort. I have spent hours in snow and they keep my feet warm and dry. A great price too. I just slip my feet in without opening the laces every time I wear the shoes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I wear a 9 - 9 1/2, and bought a 9 1/2. Feels great. Not too boxy in the toe, and there's room for thick socks (but not too much room, which you tweeners know can be a problem). My arches are slightly higher than normal, and i'll need inserts to bring this arch up a little, but the sole feels really nice, otherwise. Color is true, styling is great. Ready for winter and psyched to have these.

Very happy with my purchase...looks better in person than the picture...normally wear a size 6 ordered a 6.5 in case and it worked out well.

These are awesome boots but they're just to narrow. The toe box was tight and the floor of the boot felt rigid. Not comfortable and not supportive. Its too bad too, I really like them. But this boot is not for fashion, its to get outdoors. If you have any discomfort when you put on a boot or shoe thats for hiking or working, I've learned its a no go. The smallest pinch becomes a big deal after a couple of miles. I thought about getting a bigger size but decided longer isn't going to take away the narrowness of the toe box. BUMMER!

First ordered a 1/2 size bigger since I like to wear thick socks in winter but they were too tight and narrow. Returned and ordered a whole size higher and they still feel a little on the snug side. These seem to run small and narrow. Very cute and feel warm though. Wearing them around the house now to see if they feel ok before wearing them out. They’re so adorable but they are still pinching my pinky toes. If they stretch they should be ok... oh what to do!

I purchased these boots based on overwhelmingly positive reviews, many of which discussed warmth and great support, the most important factors for me in a snow boot. These boots are cute enough (for a snow boot) and don't look as chunky as my current Baffins (which, by the way, are amazing and lasted many years in lots of snow) and the length is accurate; however, there is literally zero arch support. It's tough to understand why people have commented about their superiour support, when the inside is flat flat flat. I have a narrow, low-volume foot, and typically can compensate for this by wearing thick wool socks and adding my custom orthodics. Unfortunately, my feet still swam in these boots, especially in the toe box, and the laces could not be tightened enough. My guess is that these mediums lean towards the wider side, but it's tough to say, because, as I said, my feet and ankles are narrow. Too bad I won't get to test their warmth.

These are the only winter boots I wear, this is now my second pair. I bought my first pair ~4 years ago and they are still going strong, but I wanted more than one color. I have thicker than average calves and most winter boots don’t work for me for that reason. These are perfect because the opening actually can go quite wide allowing me to fit my leg in (and then you can lace them up tightly!) They are warm, comfortable to walk in, and waterproof. And, they’re actually affordable!! Couldn’t ask for anything more. My last pair held up great to 4 Michigan winters with everyday use. I am usually a 9 or 9.5 in most shoes and I have a wider foot. I ordered the 9.5 wide width and they fit great. Don’t sleep on these!!

I bought these boots for our snow cabin and they do work well for occasional use. I am almost always a 9, occasionally an 8.5. I do not have wide feet at all, they are actually narrow but wide at the toes. These boots are quite roomy. I wore one pair of very thick winter socks with them and I could easily wear two pairs in these size 9 boots. I do think the 8.5 would have been too short for me, though. These are also fairly wide. My feet do side a bit inside these boots. Overall, they kept my socks and toes dry, so that’s a good thing! I think my feet were still a bit cold just because the boot is roomy. I am keeping these because I like the style and height of the boot, the laces are easy, and they are keeping my feet dry. Also, I just need them for occasional use. If I was in need of a pair to wear daily, I would not choose these ones because of the odd sizing.

These are very comfortable in the toe box and around the calves, and this is coming from someone with wide feet and fuller calves - about 15" around. I am size 7.5 wide and I was able to fit comfortable in these in a size 8.5 regular. I am just not sure I like the style, and I also prefer taller boots for being out in the snow. Still debating but these are a good option for wide feet. There are very few choices among actual wide size snow boots that are waterproof. So, there is hope for people with wide feet with these boots.

These are awesome boots for the price. If your jeans are covering the calf area the boot looks like a tennis shoe. If you’re wearing leggings then they look like boots with a cute fur trim. They are fairly narrow though so be aware if you have a wide foot. Ran true to size though for me. I always wear an 8.5 and these fit perfect in the 8.5. These are rated for -25^F and have 200g insulation so they should do the trick for me!

This was my first Columbia purchase ever... I'd been struggling to find a good pair of boots that don't give me blisters and that are easy on and off. Was so happy to find these!! I normally wear a 9 and these fit perfect!! Very warm and very sturdy. Thanks, Zappos!

I wear a women's 10.5 wide and I need some arch support. It is very difficult to find shoes that fit. Every shoe maker has different lengths and widths to go with their version of a size 10.5 shoe. It is disappointing that Zappos and the shoe manufacturers cannot come up with standardized sizing that reflects width and length the way that some blue jeans makers do. For example if you asked my husband what size pants he wears he would say, "I have a 33" waist and a 34" inseam". Why can't we have shoe sizes that are 28 centimeters long by 11 centimeters wide (at the ball of the foot)? That being said, I ordered women's and men's boots from Columbia, Baffin, Sorrel, Kamik, Propet and Pajar. Here are my thoughts: -Men's Columbia boots are better made then Women's Columbia boots, they have better lining/padding, better arch support and sturdier materials. The women's are more attractive. Both Men's and Women's Columbia boots in medium width are too narrow for me. The Women's wide were wider then the medium but not wide enough. The men's wide were wider but not by much. The Bugaboot III Wide is on my short list of desired boots, but I need one size up and they are currently out of stock. It was a little stiff but had good warmth/lining and good arch support. -Baffin boots were dreamy comfy. Amazing lining; soft and warm. Sturdy exterior, not too heavy. Sadly, these boots run almost 2 sizes smaller then the average boot. So, if you are looking at trying the Baffin I would recommend sizing up at least 1.5 sizes up. -Sorel boots have some good features, but not all Sorels are made equal. I ordered both the Caribou Wool and the 1964 Pac Nylon. The Caribou Wool was by far more comfortable and warm. Please note they also seem to run small, consider sizing up. I ordered the D width and found them on the narrow side. I am exchanging for a size up and hoping to gain a little more wiggle room in the width. Fingers crossed. -Propet women's boots were cute and I appreciated the width that they offered. If you have wide feet and width is your biggest concern I would recommend giving these a try. I did find them lacking in arch support and lining for warmth. But a thumbs up for style. -Kamik men's boot were interesting but also did not find the arch support I was looking for. -Pajar boot - I ordered at men's 42, they were too small but I liked their potential so I am exchanging for size 43. I really wanted to try the 44 but for some reason in both styles they were out of 44. Finger crossed for the 43 to fit. I hope that overview helped. I really appreciate the comments that other people write. It helps me figure out whether or not to give a shoe/boot a try. Thanks to everyone out there that takes a minute to write feedback. It is a big help!

I wanted one new pair of boots, but these were a bit dressier than the sportier pair that I bought, so I kept them too! I worried that they may look slightly matronly, but no - very simple and attractive.

Comfortable out of the box. I live in Cleveland OH and we had a 2ft snow storm. After 3 hrs of shoveling my feet were still dry and warm. No blisters or breaking in period. The gray is beautiful. Great looking boots.

I wore these boots in Chicago in 9 degree weather with snow on the ground. My feet were dry, warm and comfortable. Very happy with the quality, the style and the price.

A Great boot for us shorter girls blessed with calves. The back of the boot ends just below my calf muscle, which gives me a higher boot that actually works and doesn't make my legs look huge! I am a size 9 and based on reviews, initially purchased a 9.5. After try-on, reordered in my usual 9 - which fits great. I also have duck feet (narrow heel cup, wide toe box) and these fit well. It looks like they'll be a great "slip-on and head out" for our Wisconsin winters!

These boot were comfortable right out of the box. I wear an 8-8.5 so I bought the 8.5 figuring I'd probably wear them with thicker socks then most of my shoes, and they fit perfectly. I have plenty of room for a thick sock, but the boots aren't too big with a thinner sock. They are really cute and I like that you can lace them up to get the fit you want.

I have wide feet so I have a hard time with shoes fitting well, but I absolutely love these! I can wear them all day and they don’t hurt my feet. They do such a good job of keeping my feet warm and have great grip on ice!

I order a size up for thick socks. It fits perfect. I usually wear 8 US and order 8.5 to give my toes sufficient room for long walks. I am guessing the 8 would have fit too exact and may be too tight with thick sock. Even without the thick socks it’s fine but socks beat be worn to fill space. Can’t wait to try them out in December

Bought these for a trip to Tahoe in January. I'm not really a sports person, but I knew I would be walking in snow and on ice and I HATE cold, wet feet. These shoes fit my narrow, high-arched size 6 feet perfectly. They felt comfy all day! I can wear them with either thin or thick socks and they still fit. My one worry was that the laces might make the shoes too hard/complicated to put on but nope. The laces are simple to loosen and do up and I had no trouble sliding in my high-arched feet. I did still slide a little bit on ice when I hit a stray patch, but of the four people on our trip I was not the one to fall down in the driveway and break my wrist on the first day. :P These boots definitely helped keep me safe.

I needed boots to keep my feet dry and warm. I wore these on a cold, moderately wet day for 8 hours and the boots scored on both counts. They are comfortable too, and not clunky like other boots I have tried. Highly recommend.

For this price these fit better and are just as warm as some of the boots I tried on that cost twice as much. They look pretty cool as well (no pun intended). I have a wider foot and they feel great. Would recommend to others.
